West Yorkshire NF at Towton April 13th

We have just received the local paper's usual slant on the recent activity at Towton to pay tribute to the dead of Towton in March 1461, when 29,000 Englishmen fell. The NF did NOT intefere in any way with the Medieval event taking place away from the battlefield itself. The NF held the Memorial demo at the site of Lord Stabley's Monument.
We have been told by English Heritage that Towton is now in fact a protected area - but our repeated calls to Selby Council about laying on more facilities at the Battlefield site (there isn't even a directional sign!), have fallen onto deaf ears.
On March 29th of next year, the NF will be back in even greater numbers. The NF and the heritage of our nation are inseperable.
