On Saturday 3rd May the West Midlands NF held a meeting in the north of Birmingham and it was a good turnout.
Items that were discussed were the NF AGM, the ISD Event, the Piper and Drum event in Southport and Remembrance Day Parade. Members of the West Midlands NF will be going to the NF National Event in Newcastle on Saturday 10th May this is a demonstration against child grooming and we ask all members and supporters to join us next Saturday.
We are not happy about the fact we cannot stand candidates under the NF banner because of the ongoing situation with the ex-chairman of the NF and you will know the reasons behind this.
The guest speaker for the day was Mark Freeman from our Kent branch and his speech was well received by all that attended the meeting. To raise much needed funds for the branch we had a raffle and collection.
The next meeting was booked for Saturday 2nd August and thank you everyone who came to our meeting and we look forward to seeing you all again in August.
