Jewish author to re-write Shakespear's 'Merchant of Venice'

Unbelievably or rather all too believably, a Jewish author, one Howard Jacobson has been commissioned by Hogarth Press, a Penguin Publishing offshoot to re-write 'The Merchant of Venice'.
Jacobson won the "Man Booker Prize" in 2010 for his work "The Finkler Question", which is, no surprises here, a book written by a Jew about two Jewish men wrestling yet again with the tedious and much over-written 'Jewish Question'.
I am going into this in more depth in this week's 'The White Nationalist' - the destruction of the Merchant of Venice, now being branded, a racist story, ( available if you subscribe to TWN - e-mail nationalistfreepress@gmail.com to be added to our free weekly e-newspaper), but to give you an idea of the sort of stuff I fear Jacobson will be introducing into 'The Merchant of Venice' - I am putting below a review of the twisted and weird plot to 'The Finkler Question'.

Julian Treslove, a professionally unspectacular former BBC radio producer, and Sam Finkler, a popular Jewish philosopher, writer and television personality, are old school friends. Despite a prickly relationship and very different lives, they remain good friends, keeping contact with their former teacher Libor Sevcik, a Jewish Czech nearing ninety who once tutored in Czech history and worked part-time as a Hollywood gossip columnist.

Now, both Libor and Finkler are recently widowed, and Treslove's chequered and unsuccessful record with women qualify him as an honorary third widower. They dine together at Libor's grand apartment in central London: it is a sweetly painful evening of reminiscences. At 11:30 pm that evening, Treslove is attacked while walking home. It seems he is mugged by a woman who hisses the phrase "You Ju" at him. After much cogitation, Treslove believes what the assailant meant was "You, Jew", sparking a long-running obsession with all things and people Jewish – which he refers to as "Finkler". Treslove gets into a relationship with Hephzibah, the great grandniece of Libor, and is haunted by his adulterous affair with Tyler, Finkler's deceased wife. In the meantime, Finkler joins an "ASHamed" organization which favours the Palestinians over the Israelis over their land disputes. The novel coalesce into an ending that brings together the disparate narrative strands amongst the three central male characters.

Dickens' got this treatment over his book 'Oliver Twist'. The musical 'Oliver' turned Fagin, a grasping and evil user of young children, into a loveable rogue - methinks Dickens knew a lot more about London conditions in the 19th century than that oddball over hyped Jacobson does!

Tributes have been pouring in from Anglo-Jewry in memory of the late British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
Baroness Thatcher, who died on Monday at the age of 87, was described as "a giant who had a transformative impact on Britain" by chief rabbi Lord Sacks.
He added: "I first got to know her early on in my life when she was the local MP. She was loved and admired by many in the Jewish community who will miss her deeply. Few people in my lifetime have left such a personal imprint on British life."
"She was always extremely supportive and admiring of the ethos of the British Jewish community," said Vivian Wineman, president of the Board of Deputies. "This close relationship began when her family took in a young Austrian Jewish refugee from Nazism in the late 1930s. When she entered Parliament as MP for Finchley, a very Jewish constituency, her relationship with local Jewish institutions blossomed and continued throughout her illustrious career as Prime Minister.
"She counted a number of Jews among her closest advisers and confidants, and at one point nearly a quarter of her Cabinet were of Jewish origins. She also greatly admired the late Chief Rabbi Dr Immanuel Jakobovits whom she elevated to the House of Lords. She was unquestionably a great statesman of the later 20th Century, and one who was a friend to the Jewish people and Israel."
"Margaret Thatcher was always a strong supporter of Israel and the Jewish community. Her staunch defence of freedom and liberty perhaps explains her genuine admiration of Israel as the only democracy in an autocratic region; something that she felt should be fought for and protected," said Stuart Polak, director of Conservative Friends of Israel.
"Britain has lost a great leader but her legacy will never be forgotten."
Lord Sugar, a Labour peer, posted on Twitter that Baroness Thatcher was "a great lady".
He added: "She changed the face of British politics, created opportunity for anyone to succeed in the UK. RIP."
Conservative MP Robert Halfon described her as one of our greatest leaders. "Truly great people come along once a generation," he said. "Her influence on the Conservative Party as a whole is almost unparalleled."
Party chairman and fellow Jewish MP Grant Shapps added: "Margaret was an incredible woman, with the bravery to lead where others could only follow."
Daniel Peltz, chairman of Technion UK, spoke of the Prime Minister's strong links with the Israeli institution, including that she was awarded an honorary degree in 198.
"She was an inspirational leader, whose passion for science and technology, and the friendship she extended to the State of Israel will not be forgotten."
The Israeli ambassador to the UK, Daniel Taub, sent a letter to Baroness Thatcher's children to express his deep condolences. He said: "For her strong support for Israel, for the way in which she epitomised the values of freedom and democracy that our two countries hold so dear, and in memory of her remarkable life, we mourn with you and the British people on this solemn day."
From Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu offered his condolences. "She was a woman of principle, of determination, of conviction, of strength, a woman of greatness," he said. "She was a staunch friend of Israel and the Jewish people. She inspired a generation of political leaders.
"I send my most sincere condolences to her family and to the government and people of Great Britain."
President Shimon Peres added: There are people, there are ideas. Occasionally those two come together to create vision.
"Baroness Thatcher was an exceptional leader, a colleague in the international arena and a friend for me personally. She served as an inspiration for other leaders, as the first female Prime Minister of Great Britain she broke new ground. She showed how far a person can go with strength of character, determination and a clear vision."

On Homosexuality
White Nationalist Re-criminalise the sickness of homosexuality. Ban its promotion in our schools and in our media.
Homosexuality is aimed at smashing the family - the healthy basis of any nation.
Populist - As long as they do it in their own homes we don't mind. In fact we now have a Gay section in the new British Democratic Freedom Independence National Party.
Old Gang - Encourage it at all levels - anyway Westminster would be half-empty if we banned the Gay community. We must promote Gay Pride and put down the very idea of the normality of family life.
Marxists - Encourage it at all levels (er - same as above really)

On Israel and the Jewish Question
White Nationalist - We totally oppose the illegal bandit state of Israel. We opposed World Wide Zionism as an integral part of the Globalist domination plan. Free discussion from the race acts (which we would repeal) on the Jewish Question and the Holocaust. Free debate in all aspects of history and the application of historical revisionism.
Populist - Oh my God! We'd get called Nazis! Some of our members support Israel and some do not. We recognise the State of Israel but the Jewish people have given a lot to Britain. Anyone banging the anti-semitic drum is just a dinosaur and a Nazi and (fill in the rest as you want, dear reader....)
Old Gang - We all have Israeli Friendship Societies - imprison anyone even mildly criticising Jewish people - in fact gas these horrible racists. We have made any rational debate on  the role of the Jewish people in British history, basically impossible.
Marxists - Support the struggle of the oppressed Palestinian people! Support the struggle of the Jewish people against the rise of the Neo-Nazis by violent attacks on all fascists.

Criticise Israel? You are anti-semite!

Once again we hear the world's Jewish community baying  for blood and the  victim this time - none other than celebrated cartoonist Gerald Scarfe. His deadly crime? He has published a cartoon in 'The Sunday Times' depicting the Israeli Prime Minister wielding a bloodied knife over a wall dripping with blood and crushing Palestinian victims between the cracks.
His worse crime - he did it near 'Holocaust Memorial Day' (yawn).
Once again ANY criticism of Israel - that blood soaked Bandit state that is carrying out a planned holocaust of its own, it smashed down by the massive World Jewish Lobby as anti-semitic.
Criticise ANY aspect of what Israel is doing and you must be the man who laid the foundation stone when they built Auswitzch.
The whole thing is of course ridiculous in the extreme. Britain should withdraw recognition of the illegal state of Israel and as we back the  NF, we would like to see the National Front declaring officially it does not recognise the State of Israel

The Independent is running a poll as to wether Scarfe (forced by the arch Zionist Murdoch) to apologise for the cartoon and we urge visitors to register a NO vote (current around 75%!).

The Sunday Times has received complaints of anti-Semitism after a cartoon was published appearing to depict Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu building a brick wall containing the blood and limbs of Palestinians.

Scarfe told the Jewish Chronicle that he had not been aware it was Holocaust Memorial Day and “very much regrets” the timing of the cartoon.
Rupert Murdoch tweeted an apology reading:
“Gerald Scarfe has never reflected the opinions of the Sunday Times. Nevertheless, we owe major apology for grotesque, offensive cartoon.”

Hot to Trot Fletcher

Ed Milliband, whose Jewish immigrant father Ralph Milliband was a noted leading Marxist theoritician (like father like son), has appointed the out-and-out Trotskyist, Simon Fletcher as his new aide-de-camp. Fletcher was former chief aide to Red Ken Livingstone, former Labour Communist Mayor of London.
Fletcher was part of 'Socialist Action' - an extreme left-wing grouping which aimed to make the whole of London into a 'Socialist Republic'.
